Directions to LSE Department of Mathematics

The LSE Department of Mathematics occupies the 4th floor, and some of the 3rd floor, of Columbia House, accessible from the Aldwych.
The Departmental office is B401. Graham Brightwell's office is B302.

Make your way to either:

Holborn underground station. (Easy from (e.g.) King's Cross: 2 stops on the Piccadilly Line.)
Exit Holborn via main exit (well-defined), and turn left. You are walking down a major road called Kingsway.
Go right to the end, which is the Aldwych, and go round to your left.
Cross the next street (Houghton Street), go past the LSE Garrick, and in the next doorway (Columbia House).
Take lift or stairs to the 3rd or 4th Floor.

or

Temple underground station. (Easy from (e.g.) Victoria via District and Circle line.)
Exit the station and turn left (away from the river).
Cross the road and proceed straight ahead up the hill on the right-hand side of the street.
At the top of the street, cross at the pedestrian light, go past the church and the statue, cross again, and go around to your left (this is the Aldwych).
Just before you come to the next street (Houghton Street), there is a doorway marked Columbia House; go in and take lift or stairs to the 3rd or 4th Floor.

Allow 10-15 minutes to walk from either underground station.

My office number is B302. My phone no. is (020)-7955-7624 (the last part is my LSE extension).
